Jacob has been practising criminal and traffic law for almost eight years. He has represented clients for a wide range of matters, including DVO breaches, drugs, assaults, sexual offences, home invasions, armed robberies, frauds, DUIs, police evasions, regulatory offences, and all traffic applications. He has represented clients in the Supreme, District, and Magistrates Courts.  

Jacob always seeks the best results for the firm’s clients, whether negotiating to amend charges, preparing cases for trial, or arguing thoroughly prepared pleas.

In Queensland, he has successfully appeared as advocate in District Court sentences and appeals, as well as successfully securing acquittals in Magistrates Court trials.

Additionally, Jacob worked interstate. He was a barrister in Victoria for several years, where he prosecuted and defended criminal and child protection matters in all courts. He also worked as a criminal defence advocate in the Aboriginal Legal Service of Western Australia, and taught criminal law and advocacy at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
